Overview

Launched with ÉFC's first cohort (September 2021), this one-year pathway trains practitioners to translate creative intent into industrial and craft patterns, toiles and finished garments. Modules cover drawing, flat pattern, stand draping, construction and a jury-assessed collection project. The professional FDP certificate is issued with a public code verifiable on the school domain. Indicative volume: 600 taught hours. Not a state degree (Licence/Master) unless legally stated otherwise.

  • Translate design concepts into toiles, fittings and finished garments
  • Apply fit analysis and alterations under atelier conditions
